AcademicPublication DesignWhat Can Be Seen
‘What Can Be Seen’ is an observation of life, showcasing photographs and listened conversation that convey a perspective of people and the spacey they occupy. The publication features three issues, each exploring experimental layout design, playing with colour, overlapping imagery and text, and white space. In print, different mediums of paper and plastic, acrylic paint, and risograph printing were explored to create a dynamic and inspiring physical publication. The idea behind the project was to develop further creatively with each issue, whilst maintaining an overall consistent style, leading to more experimental results through design choices and print options as the series progressed.
